Mission Statement:
Welcome to the Church of the Ascension in Overland Park, KS. We are a Catholic community that proclaims, celebrates, witnesses, and serves in the name of Christ. We strive to involve every parishioner more fully in our community through worship, education and service.
If you have reached this blog, most likely you are involved in the Church of the Ascension's 2009-2010 RCIA process! Congratulations, this is the beginning of the end, as you set forth on a journey to help better know Christ and His Church! Keep informed on this blog, as we post our RCIA sessions here each week in the form of Podcasts, in case you missed class (or just missed something in general). As always, if we've missed something, we encourage you to ask us questions - we may not have all of the answers, but we'll try. That is what we're here for!
